Little Sister Review
A good beer for coastal waters. The Captain's Daughter though, she'll escort you all the way to BUZZard's Bay.

The Rhode Island coast is as good a place to drink as any.
Punchy, with tone. Yet, light, if a bit breezy. Grey Sail's Little Sister is pretty solid afternoon post-work beer. It's also the type of beer that starts an impromptu brewery crawl. Also the type of beer that could cause some trouble if you aren't being responsible. The 4.8% is deceptive, though still good for a shower beer.
If you're brew-crawling Rhode Island breweries and you stop at Grey Sail, opt for the Little Sister or Hazy Day (3.7%). It would be irresponsible to hit up the Captain's Daughter at 8.5% ... unless you have a driver.
Noticeable aftertaste. Not a bad one, just noticeable. Super easy to drink. 16oz goes by like that.
Cheers to you too, Jen and Alan!
Brewery Notes. It's not easy growing up when your older sister is the Captain's Daughter. All you ever hear is praise for her. Well now it's the sister's turn. This session IPA is loaded with Mosaic and Citra hops. Full of flavor and aroma, the Little Sister is out to make a name for herself!
