Not exactly California, which has approximately 40x more microbreweries and brewpubs than Mississippi. But, the Magnolia State is improving, with more and more small batch brewing popping up.
Spearheaded - perhaps - by the Lazy Magnolia brewery, the Mississippi craft beer scene is small, but no less important to our great nation's love of beer. From Hattiesburg to Ocean Springs, Mississippians can sip tasty brews and enjoy delicious southern meals at the state's several brewpubs.

The brewpubs and taprooms deserve not only credit for producing excellent food & drink, but also credit for making some great beer.
